panicattackproductreviews.net One very common problem panic attack sufferers face is feeling like they are not able to breathe. This can lead to a variety of other symptoms, such as feeling dizzy or like you are going to pass out. That’s why one of the things you can do when you get a panic attack is breathe in and out through your nose, slowly and rhythmically. Even though this can be helpful, the feeling that you are being smothered, or are choking, is one of the most unfortunate symptoms of panic attacks.

Help for test anxiety?

Question by ret80soft: Help for test anxiety?
I’ve been studying for a test for two weeks now (160+ hours of total study time) but I suffer from really bad test anxiety. I can know a subject EASILY, but during a test (anything subjected to time and the environment) start shaking nervously, my heart races and my mind blanks out and I start to question myself over and over again if what I am doing (the problem) is the right way.

Is there ANYTHING I can do to ease my test anxiety, anything I could take to help it? I have a test today and I REALLY want to do well on it and not blank out.

bring one of your favorite tv snacks with you, and while taking the test, think that you are just doing your homework in your comfy house.

do any of these symptoms accompany your panic attacks?

Question by gutter_glitter: do any of these symptoms accompany your panic attacks?
i used to have panic attacks quite regularly, they came out of nowhere, all i can pin it down to really is a plane flight to greece…ive never had a problem flying but this time i really spazzed out, i even spilled boiling hot coffee on the person next to me :$
anyway like i said i don’t have them anymore, but when i did it used to feel like i was having a heart-attack/going to faint and they usually came on in crowded places/buses.
but now i don’t have them, i just feel dizzy, permanently exausted and i always have a headache.
are these symptoms linked?
if not, what might have caused this?
thanks x

the severity of the stress you are feeling would be what would determine just dizzy vs. actually passing out. loss of coordination (spilling the coffee) is another common symptom.

When I am in class, I start drawing to try and take my mind off the fact that I feel like the people around me are staring at me. Or I sort of massage my neck to help me calm down or rub my hands in a motion as though I am washing them. It is confusing but these help me relax.

Is a hurting arm common if you have anxiety disorder?

Question by Letterbomb: Is a hurting arm common if you have anxiety disorder?
I have anxiety disorder, and whenever I get an attack my left arm hurts. Is that common?

Best answer:

Answer by jimM
I don’t think arm pain is common for anxiety disorder. It’s hard to tell exactly what would be causing this, but the best advice I think would be to see a doctor. When strange things like that happens its best to seek medical advice. If it only occurred once or twice and went away it may not be a big deal though.
