Are there any anxiety medication that won’t change your personality?

Question by niceguy1987: Are there any anxiety medication that won’t change your personality?
I have a good personality with people I know, but it’s horrible around strangers.Im set on taking medication but, I don’t want my personality to change because of it.Im afraid ill be one of those emo zombie kidz who look like there on drugs.Are there any medication that can get me through public places like school and still control my personality?

Probably. But you would need to see your doctor about that.

People react differently to different medications.

    anxiolytics are meds specificaly for anxiety.

    Alprazolam (Xanax)
    Chlordiazepoxide (Librium)
    Clonazepam (Klonopin)
    Clorazepate (Tranxene)
    Diazepam (Valium)
    Lorazepam (Ativan)

    you have to bet one that will best fit you and how you are, if put on the righ one usually it most likely afect your personality. it may chill you out a bit and cause you to be more relaxed but thats prolly one of the only changes.
