Q&A: Are doctors crazy? I cant believe the new illness they “invented”?

Question by Minister ((Christian.)): Are doctors crazy? I cant believe the new illness they “invented”?
Quote “I am a grandmother of a 13 yr.old adopted granddaughter that has many challenges besides bi-polar, oppositional defiance disorder, ADD and ADHD”.

Oppositional defiance disorder? Adopted? When youre adopted thats a major rejection issue cause your parents gave you up.. Doctors cant learn..how sad.

Hurting people hurt others. Theres nothing wrong with you its the people who are mean to you. They are sick and being mean makes them feel better. People/kids/parents do mean things or lie and control. They just want the reaction so they can get high feel good from it. The words are not true. They have a problem and they need control.

When you have a bad past/rejection/father gone it lets other things start. Anorexia Bi polar, Cutting, OCD, anxiety, panic attacks, hearing voices can all come from a tramautic past. It opens doors to the negative and they start to dwell closeby, like addicitons cravings.

You can talk to me or google “emotional abuse” and see all the definitions and see its all true. Knowing the truth is the step to freedom from pain. Negative people and abuse brings spiritual problems so praying to get rid of negative things of a spiritual nature is often needed after years of abuse. Its not you its them. Its all about you having control.

Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. Colosians 3-21

1. Read online about verbal abuse. Read 20+ sites. BULLYING 20 sites
2. Realize its their problem.
3. Realize anger hurts you not them.
4. Google “Sinners prayer”- stops sadness.
5. Google “Deliverance Prayers”

There is some truth to what you are saying. Often the diagnosis is made without considering the persons situation. We know that kids internalize conflicts from parents and in turn act them out. It’s like there is an elephant in the room that no one talks about.

I hope, regardless of diagnosis, that she is able to get the love and support she needs. We all need to learn the lessons associated with this girls situation.

‘Adult child’ is short for ‘adult child of alcoholics’ .
It is common for children of alcoholics to have arrested emotional development.
It is also common for adult children to rate poorly at facial cues.
Many of the symptoms of ASD are identical to those of adult children.
Leading some to question which came first, the chicken or the egg.
Nature or nurture.

The solution it seems, aside from lifelong medication and therapy,
is addiction free living, varied natural diet, heart chakra yoga, extra-meridian accupressure. Avoidance of all false emotion displays. ie TV/movie/models/salesads/salespeople. Find exercises that sharpen or improve emotional intelligence.

Q&A: Need Help with Chronic Illness – Severe Depression, Chronic Fatigue and Fibromalgia Pain?

Question by Ms. Moonbeam: Need Help with Chronic Illness – Severe Depression, Chronic Fatigue and Fibromalgia Pain?
I suffer from .he above and am almost 60 yrs old …It seems to be getting worse. I spend everyday in bed reading or on my computer. I do not even watch TV.I seldom leave the house. I am too depression and in chronic pain. Most of my family is very supportive, except my son who is 35. He just says that I am unstable” and I believe his problem is being ashamed of me so he just not come around, which really hurts me. I am beginning to wonder if I have been misdiagnosed. I could be bipolar and or have a personality disorder. My doctors have only diagonosed me with severe depression and anxiety. I am on Prozac, Abilify and Transene. But, if I am bipolar are these the right meds for me? I am diagnosing myself based on what I have read. How do you know? Just what does it mean to have a “Pesonality Disorder?” There are just so many unanswered questions I have and have not gotten any specific definitions from my doctors. Any suggestions I am feeling confused.
I am not asking about my meds or menospause. I want to know how you can tell if you may be bipolar instead of just severely depressed and do the other two illness CFS/Fibromalgia casue the depression. Maybe I have not made my question clear enough. The two answers have not helped
I have been told my medical personal that “Personality Disorder” is a seperate from the depression. But exactly what does it mean? No one can seem to answer that question. I need an answer from someone in the medical profession

It really sounds like they have you on a lot of drugs. I am taking some estroven for my periomenopausal symptoms, it is a vitamin, and helps a lot. I also recently ordered some 5-HTP, which is also a supplement, and it is supposed to control the balance of your serotonin levels. You are not supposed to take it though if you are on the drugs you are on. Maybe ask the doctor about some natural holistic methods? Maybe getting off those drugs would help. I am so sorry to hear you are having a difficult time, feel free to email me anytime. :)

People who manipulate – Do you know of any clinical disorders one might have?

Question by Southern Belle ☆: People who manipulate – Do you know of any clinical disorders one might have?
I have a friend who I think is a “master manipulator,” however, the mental health definitions I’ve read for manipulation don’t really seem to fit. I am researching other disorders trying to find one that fits. She will not go to a general doctor much less a psychiatrist or psychologist, and thinks that everyone else is the problem. Here is just a brief list of some of the things she does:

*She “makes up” wild accusations:
—>She said that one of her uncles molested her during her childhood, which no one believes is even possible.
—>She told her Mom that she “had a grandchild she never knew about” and claimed that she buried a child in her grandparent’s back yard in 1988, (she would’ve been 16). We assume she means she had a miscarrage.
—>She says an ex-lover handcuffed her to a bed and raped her.
*She seems to be gratified when people fight over her:
—>She would constantly take her children and leave and move somewhere else because she knew it would upset whomever she was previously living with.
—>She is constantly “playing both ends against the middle”
—>She tells one person one thing and they console her then she goes and tells someone else the opposite almost like she wants people to argue or fight over her.
*She’s been addicted to prescription drugs:
—>She has been on anxiety medicines and pain medications as well as high blood pressure meds.
*She always portray’s herself as a victim:
–>Regardless of the situation she tries to be the victim and creates her own version of the truth so that it fits what she wants other’s to believe even though everyone else knows the “real” truth.
*She has stolen money and items:
—>She has stolen money from people
—>She has gotten her grandmothers and uncle’s checking account #’s and tried to call Western Union and wire money to herself from their accounts.
—>She took her grandmother’s Discover card and booked a cruise, but the card company caught it and filed it as fraud.
—>She stole and sold her grandfather’s gun to a pawn shop.
******
She’s 36 years old and this has been going on her entire life.

It may be some sort of personality disorder, or paranoid schizo-affetive disorder. Sounds more like a severe personality disorder.

Could I be dyslexic?!?

Question by : Could I be dyslexic?!?
Iam a 22 year old female, and I just recently underwent an extensive cognitive exam to determine whether I may be affected by Inattention or ADD. The exam covered a vast amount of ground, but it seemed that my main areas of problem arose during the verbal/ vocab and spelling portions. Sometimes I have a hard time with pronunciations of words that I may know and use in writing. I think it’s important to mention that English is my second language and I’ve been speaking it for 11 years. I graduated high school with honors and at the top of my class. I attend an Ivy league university and I just recently graduated with honors and have since moved on to work on my masters degree at the same university. I am hoping to attend law school after.

Today, during the exam, I was asked for definitions of some difficult vocabulary and later I was given a spelling test. I was so nervous and frustrated during both that I contemplated leaving the session. I get really worked up and stressed when I feel like I should know something, but go “blank” when the time comes.

I have been doing well in college especially with a heavy reading load. however, I’m concerned that I don’t function efficiently when it comes to school work. this made me pursue the exam to determine whether there is something wrong. I usually perform very poorly on standardized testing, especially on the reading and comprehension potions. But, I seem to be doing fine in college.

I’m worried about my future when it comes to the LSATs and also law school.

Do you think I may have dyslexia? or could this be an anxiety issue? or inattention?

I think I may have redefined celiacs, how do I prove this?

Question by Mr. Systemic Autistic: I think I may have redefined celiacs, how do I prove this?
To make a long story short, I am a celiac, I have suffered a powerful and long term sprue due to sheer medical misdiagnosis. I am self diagnosed through genetic science. I carry the hLA DQ8 marker.

After 42 years of non diagnosed celiacs, I went on a gluten free deit. What happened to me afterwards, was a shocker. Not so shocking that my stomache ailments had left, but what was shocking was the changes that happened in my mind. I had no idea, that I would ever again, have clear thought like I had before puberty.

All my life has been riddled with anxiety and insecurity. now, all of a sudden, I had clear confidence. I did not realize what had actually happened. I had cured a large part of the asperger autism, I had suffered with, for most of my adult life.

Now, armed with the mind that was a misdiagnosed mild idiot, strong savant, was no longer controled by lack of social graces. The class clown had finally grown up. Afterwards I realized that I was left with an amazing learning curve.

I was left with the self challenge of redefining celiacs. I think now I have it. I have studied under Dr. Peter Green, Dr. Alessio Fasano, Dr. Kenneth fine, and other university level studies done on celiacs.

I have combined smaller studies to most of the celiac related dysfunctions and other fields also. I have studies definitions of asperger autism, I have studied definitions of psychiatry, anthropology, immunology, and pharmacology.

Universities contributing to my studies are global. Saporro, Cambridge, University of Brasil, and studies done around the world by simply clicking the English option.

How does one formally mentally challenged person, gain respect of the people who could never diagnose him?

How can I be heard from my little berg in my little corner of the world?

What you are describing is not new to all, just new to most. I don’t know when mainstream medical will accept and promote what you are saying, but I will add what I have learned. I have seen reports that lyme and measles can both cause one to not digest wheat and to have autism and crohn’s, and a bunch of other diagnoses. Wheat is known, to those in the autism arena who believe in the fact that one can rid autism symptoms, to be quite toxic. Thus, many avoid wheat entirely with significant results. There are many reasons for this, and googling will help you learn them..
