What should I do? My boyfriend has very high anxiety and has panic attacks often and he is sometimes suicidal?

Question by rainbowglowgirl: What should I do? My boyfriend has very high anxiety and has panic attacks often and he is sometimes suicidal?
I have known him for 3 years and we have been dating for a while. I care for him deeply, I think I might even love him, but I don’t know what to do for him. He is a very sweet and thoughtful guy most of the time, but at least 3 times a week he goes into these fits where he talks about wanting to die, and how everything is so bad. He also has very high anxiety that causes him to have panic attacks that are similar to seizures, he had one last night, all of his muscles tighten up and his eyes go crossed, and he has trouble breathing then and afterwards. I am very worried about him, I dont know what to do. Any information or advice you can give me will help, Thank you.

Q&A: What else that causes to get panic attacks?

Question by Dax Hatcher: What else that causes to get panic attacks?
2 nights ago, I had a panic attack when I laid on my bed and all for sudden, I feel like my entire oxygen in my body is sucking out like I’m about to pass away. I’m getting weird feelings from my stomach, heart, and head. My stomach feels like it’s nervous. My hand’s temperature feels warm and cold. My hand and fingers are twitching. Kept thinking I may have cancer to my head, or might be diabetes, and that I’m already dying of something. My strength feels strange. And plus, I don’t feel hungry or eat anything anymore, or even afraid to eat something and to sleep. I went to the hospital that day. Ever since, I’m still feeling nervous about this in my stomach, heart is still acting weird, and my head also feels weird.

People with mitral valve prolapse are prone to panic attacks.

I would go to the doctor with all those symptoms to get checked. Panic attacks can be debilitating. If you don’t have MVP, then you probably need anti-anxiety medication.

After he has a panic attack while driving the patrol car and nearly causes a crash, Sully insists that Bosco see his friend Brian O’Malley, who’s a therapist and a former cop. Bosco angrily resists O’Malley’s suggestion that the panic attacks and flashbacks to the incidents with Shaquana Golden, Jared McKinley and Glen Hobart are the result of September 11th post-traumatic stress disorder, and storms out of the counseling session. His personal crisis comes to a head when he is suspended from duty for a week and ordered into mandatory counseling for punching a suspect already in custody. Shaken, he visits Faith at home and finally breaks down, relating the horror of watching people fall to their deaths from the Towers, unable to help them, ashamed that his fear left him frozen and unable to go back and help anyone else for several hours. Carlos starts an open adoption process for Kylie, but fails to follow through on appointments to meet prospective parents as he becomes more attached to her. Ty pitches in to help with the babysitting, and saves Kylie’s life when she suddenly becomes very ill and stops breathing. Can Dayquil cause panic attacks?

Question by cassieminla: Can Dayquil cause panic attacks?
I took a dose of dayquil the other day, and little while later it felt like I had a panic attack. I only took the dose indicated by the box, and I’m wondering if this is fairly common.

Best answer:

Answer by Pumpkin
I haven’t personally had a panic attack from dayquil, however, dayquil has a lot of caffeine in it! if you are naturally prone to anxiety and you take a dayquil, i imagine it could cause a panic attack since caffeine raises blood pressure and can stimulate anxiety. if you plan on taking dayquil again i recommend eating a meal with it that has plenty of carbohydrates to soak up the medication and provide a slower introduction to your blood stream.

Can stress and Panic attacks cause the feeling of somthing stuck in throat and chest?

Question by Kelly B: Can stress and Panic attacks cause the feeling of somthing stuck in throat and chest?
I am a 27 year old female! During this past week I have had severe anxiety. I have every symptom in the book from chest pain to chest tightness. I went to the hospital the other night for the chest pain and they said the ekg was normal and that there was no need for an xray! Well, the chest pain has disapated, but now i have a feeling as if i have something stuck in my chest and throat! There is no pain or swelling. Can stress and panic cause this symptom? Or is this a psychogenic problem? Can constantly worring that something is seriously wrong with me cause the symptoms to be 10 times worse ? I have been to numerous doctors and not one thinks that there is anything wrong? I am desperate for some feedback!

Identifying Drug Abusers: Investigation of Narcotic and Dangerous Drug Offenses – Part 1 (1973)

DVD: www.amazon.com thefilmarchive.org Substance abuse, also known as drug abuse, refers to a maladaptive pattern of use of a substance that is not considered dependent. The term “drug abuse” does not exclude dependency, but is otherwise used in a similar manner in nonmedical contexts. The terms have a huge range of definitions related to taking a psychoactive drug or performance enhancing drug for a non-therapeutic or non-medical effect. All of these definitions imply a negative judgment of the drug use in question (compare with the term responsible drug use for alternative views). Some of the drugs most often associated with this term include alcohol, amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines (particularly temazepam, nimetazepam, and flunitrazepam), cocaine, methaqualone, and opioids. Use of these drugs may lead to criminal penalty in addition to possible physical, social, and psychological harm, both strongly depending on local jurisdiction. Other definitions of drug abuse fall into four main categories: public health definitions, mass communication and vernacular usage, medical definitions, and political and criminal justice definitions. Substance abuse is a form of substance-related disorder. Depending on the actual compound, drug abuse including alcohol may lead to health problems, social problems, morbidity, injuries, unprotected sex, violence, deaths, motor vehicle accidents, homicides, suicides, physical dependence or psychological addiction. It is chewy and tuneful and, with its small-town panic attacks and punchy new wave melodic jabs, sees them nodding towards the classic Britpopesque heritage of Weller, Difford and Costello. Small wonder then that punkoid peer Pete Shelley from The Buzzcocks was so enamored with their tunes that he co-produced (alongside Dave M Allen) their last single, ‘Poledancer’, which appears on this here album. That isn’t the only celebrity light shining on ‘Whole Town’s Heart, as it features a feisty guest appearance from ‘Hollyoaks’ starlet Hollie Jay Bowes on ‘Pretty Boy’, a spin-off from the band’s recent performance on the show and they have a celebrity fan in actor Ray Winstone who suggested he could join them on a track in the future . ‘Whole Town’s Heart

**WATCH IN HD** really makes a difference. Initially, I planned to upload this video private. I might still do but I decided it might be worth putting it public. This is not a sympathy video, I do not want anyone saying that I’m prying for attention, I think you know me well enough to know that’s not in my nature. If anything, this is a part of me I would rather keep private. However, sharing isn’t always a bad thing. What nearly nobody knows about me and my life (besides my mum and closest friends) is that I suffer from panic disorder. I don’t know if I will ever be able to fully admit that but it is what it is. I made this video out of a hard time, all my videos are made from current mind-sets and they channel what I’m going through or what I feel. I decided to upload this because I know how alone you can feel. It strips away all of you’re confidence and trust in life. I’ve been through a number of devastating things in my life, yet this is the one thing that has managed to grab hold of me entirely. If it wasn’t for the support I get from other people I don’t know where I would be. So from personal experience I can understand how even knowing someone else is going through the same or similar can help alleviate some of the focus. For me, this whole ordeal affects me badly in the sense that I feel weak, I feel like I should be able to just get over it. And I don’t know why I can’t. I had never intended to ever broadcast this, I’m undoubtedly a very personal person, I don
