As with all of the similar disorders, anxiety can be a constraint on every day life and many people seek a true cure. Anxiety disorders have a number of long term cures but if feelings of fear and worry are allowed to persist, the problem is never truly cured. The searches for anxiety cures need not be endless however, as there are many methods that can lead to a normal life for sufferers of anxiety. Prescribed drugs are one option but many fear a dependency occurring so other methods may be preferable.

Prescription medication is often the first solution turned to when looking for anxiety cures but it need not be the case when holistic and natural methods can work extremely well. There are many substances that claim to natural cures for anxiety but it is best to discuss the various options with a doctor in order to ascertain if their claims are legitimate. There are a huge number of unproven products on the market so it is better to try those that are backed by solid clinical research. Valerian extract is one natural cure for anxiety as backed by a large number of scientific studies.
It is not thought to be addictive and is an herb that helps relieve worry and will relax the body. Passion Flower is also recommended for the same reasons. L-theanine is an amino acid extraction that comes from Green Tea and works as a natural anxiety cure. There are many such ingredients in effective products that combat against anxiety and so there are many natural cures for anxiety. Along with these products are massages, acupuncture and breathing exercises as well as self hypnosis. These are all naturally alternative methods of curing anxiety without turning to prescription medication.
